A hub of love
64
My life has not always been the easiest. Alot of my difficulties have been do to my own poor decisions and some have just been due to misfortune. I have had many heart aches and many triumphs. Through out all of it I have always had a constant cheer leader. I have always had a person pushing me to be all that I could be and more. And this person loves me when loving me is very difficult.
Although This hub may not be very popular and it may not have mass appeal , I want to take this time to let thei world know that I have a person like this in my life. My mommy! Even as an adult, I still call her mommy. She drives me crazy. She loves me. Shes has a warmth and love that no other person can give. Now that I am a mother I strive to develop that kind of relationship with my daughter.
I want to be her Friend, her counselor, her teacher and most of all her mother. That is what my mother has been for me. When my children were born, she was my pillar of strength when i thought all was lost. When I went through my divorces she was my friend to tell me everything was ok.. And as I'm pursing my degree she is cheering me on.I just want to take this time to say, "thank you" to the one that loves me the most, my mama!
Would you say you have a great relatioship with your mother?

I hope you become as good a mom to your kids as your mom was to you. I hope your mom when she reads this feels happy about raising such a wonderful daughter.
It is nice and warm expression of gratitude to your Mum. I like your Hub, it opened my heart. Love and Light...
What a wonderful tribute - love like this is always passed forward and that's what keeps the world turning :)
Thank God for mothers, I am sure you agree with that! I certainly thank god for mine, she was there to care of my kids when I needed to go out and work. I certainly don't know what I would have done otherwise.. My kids have a special relationship with her- I think she makes a better grandmother than a mother, grandmothers are just mothers with more experience:-)
I'm sure you will. Being a mother is one of the most rewarding challenges life will ever present to us. I treasure the gift of my children ... and savor each and every experience we share. This is a marvelous tribute to the very essence of motherhood.
Well, I'm glad I do have the mother I have, like the old saying go's "you only get one" Good luck in finishing your degree. when your done it will seem like ages ago ;)

Thank you for a smile. My heart goes out to all of those that don't have one to love.
Yours is a wonderful tribute especially since she is able to read your hubs. Am sure she that she is very pleased with her daughter (you) and hope that your kids someday will think as much of you as you do of your "mommy."
Thanks for joining my fan club - it brought me to this hub and what a wonderful hub to read this morning. You mother and childern are blessed by having you in their lives.
You're so blessed! Not everyone is lucky enough to have a mom like yours... Thanks for sharing! =)
What a lovely, heart warming hub! It's wonderful that you have such a loving relationship with you mother, and are striving to develop the same with your own daughter. That is what tradition and family values is all about, carrying the good from one generation to the next. Good for you. I bet your daughter is a lovely child, and a warm human being, just like her mother.
I remember my relationship with my mum was very very close, loving, caring but I only enjoyed her love for 12 years then my mum went to the rainbow bridge. Now it is only memories of her. Today, I am a mother of 18 yr old teenage boy and our relationship is great. We are like sis & bro and we can talk about anything and everything. No secrets between us.
My mom has always been there for me too. Although I have been living in another city for several years now, I always see to it that our communicaton through calls and text messages are ok. Great hub, thanks for sharing.
Touching! Nice to see a hub convey a real message about a relationship rather than being just one more marketing hub trying to sell us something...I'm SOLD, however, on your dedication toward and affection felt for your mother. Nice!

I am so happy that you have a mother that you can call mommy.
There are children young and old who do not have mothers around. For many there's a sense of trouble, not being grounded, going through life lost and empty. For those less fortunate there's a constant struggle inside, an invisible scare very few get to see. You're mommy is very fortunate to have you and you are blessed to have her. I hope you always have a heart filled with grattitude and love for your mommy. I know life would have been very different if I had a mommy who cared like yours. Never forget the priceless gift you have and never let her forget it either.
